Welcome to our family journal. we are asking each family member to update on our happenings. This is kind of a public blog, so we have stripped out some of the younger names in our family. At the time of writing we are in March 2017. We are Jamon and Rachel Clark from New York about 70 miles North of NYC.
Our kids names are "coded"
Our oldest is Robert
Our second is Edith
Our Third is Zoe
Our Fourth is Alice
Our Fifth is Peggy
I plan provide updates weekly where we will hear from the kids point of view
I work for IBM in Armonk NY. My office is newer and the way my kids think of it, they think it is candy land. I get free hot chocolate every day!
Rachel is two weeks from graduating BYUI, she did it online, and started through the pathways program provided by our local Stake (diocese), She will walk in July (we will be out near the campus). She is aiming for a medical degree and has some pre mcat coursework to complete.
Robert is right now with the Children's Community Theater of Dutchess. His character is a scholarly pirate. He played soccer this fall, and enjoyed slide tackling people. He likes playing goalie, but he is not at the top spot yet. He knows the lyrics of Hamilton, and for 10% of a the face value of a Hamilton show, he can sing any of the songs for you!. He is in 7th grade and is eager to share his point of view. He enjoys eating an inordinate amount of eggs.
Edith is in team gymnastics. She is level five and just qualified for states in May! Her self description is gymnastics, wolves, unicorns, art, animals and her ipad. She is working on her ability to pull herself up on the bars...a straight arm kip it is called. She goes to gymnastics four days week.
Zoe will turn 8 in April. She plans to be baptized on April 30th in Poughkeepsie. She is into origami, sewing, piano and gymnastics. She is working on her back handspring. She can do 100 perfect push ups consecutively! When she is playing on the playground she is known to sing to herself.
Alice is in Kindergarten, she has no inside voice. She is a friend to all and an expert chicken catcher. In the past two weeks, her reading has been amazing! She is working on her gymnastics back walkover.
Peggy is our redheaded terror. We nicknamed her Godzilla because if there is a block tower (or anything fir that matter), she will destroy it. She wears dresses and puts herself to bed. She just marches upstairs and passes out. Our first to do it
We have 2 dogs, a great cat, 11 chickens and we will be getting bees in May!
Enjoy, our goal is that our kids will recap the
The Clarks!
